IS possible asociate a data element with fileupload element?

hello,

I have a fileupload element, the user will upload an archive, i will need to know the data when the user upload the archive exactly, before the user save the form, there are 5-6 archives, in the form, so as the user will take some minutes to upload.. archive 1 will have one data, archive 2 will have 2 data..

for each fileupload element i have create a data element too, but i'm not sure if is a data element or a calc element..

How can i do to see the data, time, minutes, seconds, where the user use the fileupload..???
