List creators and back-end

Hi,

I'd like to give to a few tech users permission to edit their lists and create elements for it.

So first I allowed the Manager group to Edit Own.


After I had noticed in the fabrik_lists, the created_by is always 0, so I inserted the user ID.



So I logged as Manager and tried to edit my List (ListUser1) but I cant:



Does anyone know if fabrik was prepared in the backend for this usage?

For our context, the user should see only his list too. To do this is necessary to change com_fabrik right?

Hi,

For that purpose you have the "or use field" below "Edit records" in the list ACL. See tooltip there:

I think @marcelf is looking for editing the list/form/element settings (not list data).

As far as I can see in #_fabrik_lists created_by is always 0. created (date) is set; in forms, groups, elements created_by are set.
It seems you are the 1st one asking for it.

For testing you can try to set created_by in list settings as superuser manually (Publishing tab, select a user) and see if it's then working as expected.

I tested and it seems Fabrik doesn't support "edit own".

Yes, Troester, #_fabrik_lists created_by is always 0, and even when I changed to user id it didnt allow to edit, so it must be implemented to work.
