own fabrik tables on 2e server behind firewall

Hi, can i store own created fabrik tables on a 2e server behind a firewall? I have already a 2e DB, separated from the joomla DB, but this one is on the same server as where i installed joomla.

You can add connections to remote servers.
It's up to your server, firewall and db settings to enable the access.

hi troester, i tried to connect to the remote server with the external IP address but connection fails? It also fails when i use a local IP address. Ping to the second server works fine. Ideas?

problem solved - MySql server listening server address on the 2e server was 127.0.0.1 instead of 'Any​
