PDF generation creates blank screen

I think this very recent post may be the same issue I am having. No real solution provided though:

Solution:

"ah ok - it was a discrepancy in the code between what was shown as the default pdf_debug value in the admin and what was used on the main site.
I've fixed that for you, and pdfs are now generated."

Really desperate to get PDF working. Phoca PDF works on regular joomla articles, but not in Fabrik.

I'll just keep posting things as I uncover them in the hopes that someone can give me some guidance on getting the dompdf to work. For the record, when set to PDF debug mode, the same thing happens. Totally blank screen. No errors or anything else.
