PHP plugin

Hi guys!

I was wandering could you give me an example of the syntax used in the PHP plugin when submitting a form.

I don't need a turorial on how to do it I just need to know the syntax needed to make the plugin work correctly.

like do I need to add brackets, quotations or apostrophes needed? Etc.

here is a simple one, that takes the joomla userid and stores it in a field.

$formModel->updateFormData('aircraft___clubid', {$my->id}, true);

I process it it "after any images have been uploaded" as this event occurs JUST before saving.
