remove search/details icon

I cannot get the details icon to disappear. I do not need a link to item details. I believe I have everything on the backend setup to not display it but it seems to still appear. When clicked, it goes to a blank item since nothing has permissions to display in details.

Did you set "View records" = e.g. nobody in list access?

List access for view records is set to public. I just don't need view details which i have disabled from the elements, but the actual button in the table list does not disappear.

"View records" is the details view ("Edit records" is form view), so you have to set it if you don't want to see the "View" button.

Ok thank you. I did not realize that view records was the details setting.. I changed it to registered and its gone now. thank you.
