Require Filtering for list and edit own Records.

Hi

Sorry if it seem easy, I know how to list and allow the users to be able to see all records and only edit their own records via many great articles and how to's and it is working properly. But There is a logical issue to me as I have to use this option in list:
Require filtering

So When I have menu which pre-filters the list with userid -> -1 , the list still is empty until the user search/filters the list.

Is there any workaround to override "Require Filtering" in "My Items" list?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I'm not understanding the question.

Why can't you just turn off Require Filtering?

The require filtering option only applies to element filters on the list display, a way of forcing the user to apply a filter. It doesn't apply to pre-filters, so having a pre-filter won't satisfy the requirement for a filter to be used.
