User element

Hello,
I would need to have a user element rendered as dropdown, but because the large number of users, it could be better a user element where the users type the name (so not selected from a dropdown) and while they are typing, if the name is available in Users table, then the field is autofilling.
In other words a user element appearing as a field but with the dropdown core. Is it actually possible?

Use a database join element, joined to your J! users table, set to "auto-complete" rather than "dropdown".
