what is the differience Github and Master-Fabrik?

I am a little confused now about the update process???

I was checking if I was using the most current update...of Github

I found my way onto Github Fabrik where there was a fabrik-master.zip and
Fabrik-fabrik-3.0.6.3-642-gaa4e2d5.zip

I downloaded both and notice one zipped file is a little larger than the other one, but the dates on the enclosed files are the same.

Which update should we be using? And how often should I be checking to insure I have the most current update. Now these are for new installations. I am assuming once installed the following updates can be received through the normal update process on Joomla...am I right in assuming that?

Hi Helaman, you should be using fabrik-master. Well , that's what I've been using.

yeah, I used fabrik-master on my most recent creation, updated nicely to 3.0.7 and the forms are working just fine. I am a happy camper and my client finally gets his contact after three months...greeezzz

I goofed, no one faults but mine did a website for a automobile battery company in Sacramento, CA and forgot to add the contact and support forms...luckily for me they never noticed....I am always working on three to four web sites at a time....some times I forget to make love to my wife and she is a trophy so shame on me.

Hi Helaman, you should be using fabrik-master. Well , that's what I've been using.

I had failed to update my site with master.zip.
So I use Fabrik-fabrik-3.0.6.3-642-gaa4e2d5.zip.
this is stable for me.

Anyway, which is newer ? that is what I want to know, if you or sombody know it , please let me know.
