500 Store row failed - Need some help

Hello, I've run into this error when i was trying to test my new form. Please see below. i need some feedback please how to tackle this one. Thanks

Which element type is iso_9001_2015?
Obviously it expects an int (or NULL), but gets '' (which is not longer cast to 0 in php8+).

If it's e.g. a dbjoin set e.g. the "Please select" value =0

not sure i know what that means "did you try to set a default?" but i know for a fact the dropdown is not a required field.
... and yet if I dont select something it gives me the error, if I do it does not give me an error.

Default =0 and Please select value=0
