Are Unique Validation Tip Text Placeholder

Is it possible to use placeholders in the tip text for this plugin?

I tried these

'{tbl_makes___manufacturer}'
&
{tbl_makes___manufacturer}

Hi,

you can set the tip text in the element options (publishing/Tips) with eval = No

'{tbl_makes___manufacturer}'

I think however we are at cross purposes, I was meaning the tip text which is in the validation 'areUniqueValues'.

You're talking tooltips in a form.
When adding a new record, it can't be expected to work. There's no record = no value.
When editing an existing record, it may work or not. Did it work when you tried?

It didn't work. I wasn't talking about the tooltip in the element, rather the tip in the plugin.
The tip displayed the placeholder itself ie: '{tbl_makes___manufacturer}' .

The default tip displays the name of the 'additional comparison element' and that in my case is :

'The values for this element and fkMakes must not have previously been saved in the same row Validation failed'

I wanted to use a more helpful name than fkMakes.
