hi,cheesegrits,i'm toby.

I'm a new to joomla,i build a website with joomla and installed a fabrik,which i used to create the forms.the submitted data are recorded in DB.The table's structure: title,name,date,category,details. now i want to fetch the data by category in frontpage, just show the title which has a link to new page with full information.
but i don't know how to fulfill this 2nd step, fetch data by category.
could you help me.

You can add filter values to Fabrik URL's by appending ...

&your_table_name___your_element_name[value]=whatever

So it might look something like ...

www.your.site/index.php?option=com_fabrik&task=viewForm&fabrik=12&jos_fabrik_formdata_3___category[value]=4
