delete "file upload" element

hi.
just wondering how to remove a file after having uploaded it.
if I click on the only option available in the row, nothing happens. (see red rectangle)

how can I Remove something after I've uploaded it?

The standard bootstrap backend one is "isis", it's working on my site.
Which Fabrik form template?
Are the icons missing or the complete function?

the icon to delete is present. however it simply does do nothing.

Your screenshot is not looking like isis and bootstrap (different icons, different dropdown layout).
Your other threads are in Fabrik3.0 forum?
Anything else special on your site? 3rd party plugins, components which may break Fabrik JS?
Is it working in frontend?
JS errors?
Browser? PHP Version?

in the front-end is not working either (but I don't care about that)
I tried to disable all other optional plugins and it still doesn't work.
apart from fabrik, I have JWPlayer plugin. and Acymailing.
Browsers I tried IE11, Opera 12, Firefox .
PHP 5.4

any other suggestion?

Fabrik3.1 downloaded version or a recent GitHub update? (see my signature for how to)

It's working with a standard setup:
Joomla3.3, Fabrik recent GitHub version (joomla3 branch), standard Joomla template (compatible with the Joomla bootstrap, e.g. protostar/isis), no 3rd party components/plugins breaking Fabrik JS etc.

To test what may break it:
use browser's dev tools to examine JS errors
disable other components etc
disable other elements in your form (do you have calc, cascading dropdown...)
disable custom JS
disable validations

Clear Joomla and browser cache after every step.
