DropDown with NULL value

Hi!

as the title says, I need to store no value (NULL) when nothing is selected in the dropdown and form is saved.

Now the dropdown always saves the value of first option...

What I need is basically a "Please Select" option, that doesnt do anything.

I found the eval option with

return array(JHTML::_('select.option', '1', 'one'))

can achieve my goal with this?
How would the code look for a dropdown with the options "Please Select,1,2,3" where Please Select = NULL

solved it. Using DB joins plus trigger in mysql now...
