element validation for form in Joomla! 3.3 article

Hi everybody,

My purpose is to creat a Joomla! article including four Fabrik contact forms with Fabrik content plugin.
I could manage to create and adjust the template of each form.
You could see the result in the demo site for 2 contact forms: http://www.staminic.com/test/i-trans/joomla/contacts-et-adhesion

I'm encountering the following problems:

- I've set up the name field validation to 'notempty' and the email field validation to 'isemail'
But if you test the forms, the validation seems not working and you can send empty form.

- I've set up the redirection plugin for the forms to display a thank you message in 'the same page' in the redirection module/plugin tab
But the thank you message is displayed in a popup positioned inthe top/left corner.

My configuration: Fabrik 3.1.1 (updated from Github on May 14th) + Joomla! 3.3

Similar problems clean install of Joomla 3.3 + Fabrik 3.1 download site.

You can not put more than 1 validation.
No fount Validations

I don't think it's a similar problem.
You must update from GitHub, there are fixes for issues introduced with Joomla3.3.

I can confirm the thanks message in pop-up if the form is in content plugin,
but the validation is working on my site.
Did you try to call the form via menu item? Is the validation working?

Thank you for your reply.
I've tested a direct menu link to one of the Fabrik form (see at the bottom of the right col in the demo site).
The validation still doesn't work.

Clean installation of Joomla 3.3
Installation of Fabrik 3.1
Actualisacion file directly to Joomla3 GitHub
Purge Cache - Search - Instal
Running ...

Hi everybody,

ariel_prado
I've followed your advice: uninstall Fabrik, reinstall it, apply github update (downloaded on may 15th), recrate the forms.
Everything seems OK now: validatiion is returning error message when field are empty.

The redirect plugin now display the message in the same page as expected.
It seems there is a new parameter in the url: '?isMambot=1'
