Email Receipts - "From"

Hey everyone.

I recently created a form for a site, and decided to tinker around with the ability to have the site email the person who filled out the form a confirmation. I got this to work, no problem - but the "From" email which goes to people is generated from somewhere deep in the bowels of the server - and I can't find where or how to change the "From" of the emails.

Can anyone help me with this? How can I get the emails which go to people to be 'From' me - and not some "Root User".

Which plugin are you using?

"Receipt" in the appropriate area of my form admin page. Using Fabrik 3.

Try using the 'email' plugin, see if that meets your needs, as it allows you to define the "From" address. You'll probably have to create a J! article on an un-published menu to use as the template.
