Input Mask and Ajax seem incompatible

I have a form that works great using ajax to calculate a calc field. As soon as I put an input mask 999-999-9999 for a phone number, the ajax stops calculating when I change the element. Will only do the calc on save.

Any tricks to get ajax working when using an input mask?

So the input mask is on a field element you are using in the calc?

Thats right. The calc is based on the phone number element. If the mask is set, ajax doesn't work (need to save for the calc to work) . If the mask is taken out, ajax works prefectly. Totally repeatable, in my form at least. Have tried putting the element in the watch list for the calc and makes no difference

Confirmed. I have a calc element with ajax update on several fields. They are regular fields. If you set an input mask on one of them, the calc is never triggered whereas without mask, the calc is triggered as soon as you click outside of the field.
