Posting for for Kunena

Hello All,
Your help would be appreciated
I would like to create a Fab-form, and have some fields also post to the Kunena Forum.
For which, then, subscribers to the forum would receive a message of the posting, without me having to email 20 people.

Is this possible? how should I construct it? so it is efficient?

You can use the kunena form plugin to post to a forum.

The plugin doesn't handle mailing people, but as it uses the Kunena API to post, you may be able to configure that part through Kunena (I don't use Kunena, so I don't know what features it has for emailing users).

OK, I had a look at our plugin, and at the Kunena code, and it looks easy enough to get Kunena to send the notification. I'm testing it locally, I'll commit the new code to github once it's working.

OK, as of this commit:

... the Kunena plugin now has a "Notify Subscribers" option, which will send email to the category subscribers when the message is posted.

You'll need to update from github (see my sig for link to wiki), then you can "discover" the plugin through the usual J! extension manager.
