Hi Fabrikar

I am using Joomla 2.5.9 and Fabrikar 3.0.7 (Fabrik-fabrik-3.0.6.3-981-g970a1c7)

I am currently using the redirect plugin on form submit to redirect back to the home page

Is it also possible to display a successfully message

Kind Regards
Kelly Giles

You should have a setting in your form settings to put "Suppress succes message" to "No" (which is the default behaviour).

I have ?Suppress Success Message? set to ?No?

This works fine if there is no redirect turned on ? Message Appears

But once I turn on the Redirect (i.e. back to home page on form submit) ? no message is displayed

I would like to be to redirect and have a message display

Kind Regards
Kelly Giles

Please see attached image

Text in the Success Message in the redirect plugin

Page redirects, but with no message

Are you sure that your template can display system messages? Have you tried with a default Joomla template?

Just changed to Joomla' s Default template and still have the same problem

I know the temp can display messages - as the Form Process Message works fine when I have no redirect enabled

My website redirect is with a http://my-site
Yes, this is what I meant. In this case it's called as an "external" URL (even if this is your-site) and no system message is displayed.
To link to an "internal" URL (i.e. a part of your-site) the URL must be only the last part, something like
index.php/foo/bar

Are you rendering this inside an article using {fabrik view=form.....} If so then the redirect will behave differently, what options to you have for the plugin's 'Module/Content plug-in redirect options' section?
