Renaming an element from Title to title causes 500 Error

I think this has to do with the way the code and sql handle capitilization.

I tried changing the title of an element from the word 'Title' to 'title' and that gave me a 500 error.

Next I tried to rename it to Title1.

This worked or seemed to work with no errors.

I now tried to rename it from Title1 to title.

again a 500 error.

alter structure: Duplicate column name 'title' SQL=ALTER TABLE `jos__fb_contact_sample` ADD COLUMN `title` VARCHAR(255) AFTER `Title1`

Ok Just checking because you posted in the fabrik 1 forum.

I tried this and this works fine for me using fabrik 2.0.2, changing from lower to upper case for the element name (I presume you mean name and not label?)

Ok you were correct there was an issue with simply changing the upper/lower case of the name. Its now been fixed in the svn
