save form data in database not possible

Hello,
I got a Form which worked probably fine a long time.
Sine I have added another cascading dropdown element it isn't possible to save the data into the database.
In the backend the option is not editable anymore (screenshot).

Could somebody please tell me whats wrong here?

Just a thought - have you changed the access settings in the list attached to the form?

no the access settings are public.
But I don't understand why the option in backend as administrator to save in database is not available anymore...

Does it need to be checked in? Sorry, I'm just guessing really, but worth a go?

Did you set it to "don't save..."? It can't be reset in this case.

If you have access to your DB via e.g. phpMyAdmin you can reset it by editing #_fabrik_forms.
Edit the record with id=your-form-id, set record_to_database=1

You should know what you are doing.
Backup first.

No there doasn't need to be checked in. All I know is since the second cascadingdropdown element is placed in the form it's not possible the save the data in the database.
