Static Icons not working joomla 3.2

Have a brand new install on fabrik 3.1 and still cannot get static icons to work.

I have 4 sections commercial, narrative, political, ethnic that use link to display mp3 in media box. I want that to display static icon of a play button. static icons do not display and if you right click the icon and open in new tab it shows the following url: http://bs.fractik.com/icon-playaudio

and gives this error: Fatal error: Call to undefined method stdClass::getForm() in /home/fracti7/public_html/bs/components/com_fabrik/views/form/view.base.php on line 58

Also the last icon that is supposed to display (image) is not displaying (its hidden), but on the internal backend admin form its there. seems like possibly a template bootstrap issue vs icon displaying.

The last icon is not hidden, it's just black on black.
Static icons are working (as your last one does), they must exist at the given place.
Which element types (plugins) are you using, what are your element list view settings (screenshots)?

they are working within the admin forms section. just not on the public display. They do exist but as you see they are not linked correctly not matter what i do. They come up with icon- and then %20 at the end no matter how i change the location.

the commercial field is set to the following under element view settings (using link plugin)

Replace with icons = Yes
Icon hover text = No
Static icon file (no ext!) playaudio (this says that it defaults to images folder) So in that theory this link shows the correct icon http://bs.fractik.com/images/playaudio.png

but the static icon does not show and has weird formatting. It worked fine on a joomla 2.5 instance i had when i was first testing fabrik, but will not work in joomla 3.

the last icon should look like this http://bs.fractik.com/images/icons/booktalent.png

so for some reason it does now display properly. on the backend admin forms, the icon displays fine... Unless its something to do with the png format causing it to go full black since the admin is white. i will have to look into that in the customers photoshop file.

booktalent has a transparent background, so if it's displayed on black....

link element + mp3:
I can't get the mediabox working (enabled in Fabrik Options) but static icon is working on my site and the link is opening a mediaplayer on a new tab.

i just fixed the media box issue.
I could also replicate the static icon issue when using the guess link type field option.
I've fixed that with this commit - https://github.com/Fabrik/fabrik/commit/3a70d82ee70697d38546bff1b83321325ad42e3b

I am using a link plugin type for the static icons. That sounds great. I will check out the commit tonight and try to get that loaded. Last time i tried it didn't seem to work but I will try again... thanks for the update.

Question.. Do i edit the files with those commits? Or do i update the entire fabrik component using something else? Bit confused.. thanks

I updated the items in the commit you sent me to and uploaded those changes. The icons work great now. Thank you...
