The word edit doesn't show

In the list view the record created by a user can be edited by that user. However you don't see the word 'Edit' you just see a rectangular block. When you hover over the block you see edit but the word 'Edit' should show. What should I do?

You probably use a bootstrap3 template... use this override to fix the button:

Just follow the instructions for bootstrap3 template. Should fix it.

P.S. I think usually it has an icon in it rather than the word Edit.
