Is it possible to have the WYSIWYG editor come up without needing to toggle first in textarea form element?

Are you saying it starts in simple texatrea mode and you have to toggle it to WYSIWYG?

I've never seen it do anything other than start in full WYSIWYG mode.

Does this only happen on Fabrik forms, or elsewhere the editor it used?

Yes, that's what happens. In the backend, a new Joomla article comes up in WYSIWYG and lets you tggle to simple mode. I think that's the only place we have a text area. We have an application in Cobalt that comes up in WYSIWYG as well.

Not sure what to tell ya. We don't do anything special, we just call the J! API that loads up all the Javascript and builds the editor layout. As far as I know, it requires custom init code to change the editor behavior.

Is this Tiny MCE, btw?

OK; I added a new textarea element and it displays properly. The old one still does not. I can delete the old one and move on. Thanks for replying.

We are in need of some funding.
More details.

Thank you.
