Add drawing element?

Has anyone attempted to create an interface/element that allows one to "draw" or display a "drawing" ??

There are a number of applications where a person "admin" would want to create a drawing within a form and have users interact with the drawing.

For example, an industrial engineer creates a process drawing (i.e. work flow diagram) and a shop floor technician uses the drawing during their job. The diagram has hyperlinks (e.g. processes, data flows connectors, descriptions, et. a.) that sends the user, after clicking is to another process, or another form.

If one of the processes in the drawing is "Job Complete - Complete Work Order." When they click on the process output, it goes to a fabrik form...

So useful - so cool - so next-gen...

That's one of those things I'd look at if someone was funding it for a specific project. It'd be a lot of work, and only of interest to very few users, so it's hard to justify doing it on spec
