Add php to FullCalendar visualization

Hi guys,

Is there any way to add php to the FullCalendar? I refresh data from a web service and while there are plug-ins 0n the list that handle it, opening or refreshing the calendar does not execute the plug-in code. Any tricks to make that happen? Not a big deal at all, just curious

Nope, the calendar doesn't use the main list model getData() method, so doesn't fire off any list related plugins.

Hi Hugh,

Yes, like the plug-ins on the list? We refresh data from a web service and on the schedule list we use the onPreLoadData php plug-in to call the web service to ensure the data is up to date. This works fine but since the code doesn't fire when the calendar is opened it could result in the data not being 100% up to date.

Nope, we don't have any plugin hooks in the calendar viz. They could probably be added, but that would have to be done as billable work.
