Ajax fileupload: pdf link is opening in the same window

I would prefer the file to open in a new window.
It seems the layouts aren't working for ajax fileupload.

I managed to hack fileupload.js line 405 -> but this is a core file

is this in list or details view, or both?

I mean the form view.
In list and details it's also opening in the same window but I assume here the layouts can be used (I didn't try yet).
