Connection password: possible bug with simbols!

Hi.
I moved my joomla site to another server and i have to change my connection in fabrik component. But, i noticed that fabrik is not saving the DB password if it has symbols ( i tried something like <xxxxx>). When i click save, it says "connection save" but there is no value password in fabrik_connections table. Is there a way to change this directly to DB ? Thanks

Should be fixed as of this commit:

It was the <>'s, which Joomla's default input filtering were stripping as if they were HTML tags.
