Custom Export/Report

I know you can export a table to a CSV file, but I need a way to customize this option a bit more. Basically, I need to export my table into multiple different file formats (and in some cases directly to another table in the same database). One format, for example, is tab separated including only a few fields in a particular order (perhaps with some fields needing additional string processing). Or, for another file, something a bit trickier such as XML format.

I was wondering if you guys are working on or are considering adding a custom report type plugin that could do this? Thanks

It's not on our wishlist right now. Feel free to post a Feature Request, but I doubt we'd get round to it till at least 2.1, maybe 2.2.

Wouldn't be that hard to write as a table plugin though, if you have any PHP skills.
