Errors after upgrade 2.1 to 3.09

Hi,

I upgraded my joomla 1.5 => 2.5.19 with lats github and discover function.

I followed instruction to upgrad Fabrik but now i have some errors.

First error, it displays when i go to a some form:

This have a error about form.js.
For the form.js error, i have this in form setting:

I have another error about databasejoin:



When i have a button to add or search a data in the a form it doesn't work:




Do you know this errors? how i can solve it?


I suffered a lot to get a version of fabrik to another and I despair. :/

The upgrade tool is only a help, not necessarily doing all upgrade 100%.

The error in components\com_fabrik\models\element.php 2674 is refering to validations, so check you element validations:
all installed, enabled?
Maybe you have to re-add certain validations and re-save your element.
Please report what you get to improve the upgrade tool.

Form JS handling has changed between Fabrik2 and Fabrik3 (see WIKI).

Buttons: may be a conflict with your Joomla template. Did you try with e.g. beez5? Can you see any JS errors?

I will work on the other errors and i will see the wiki for JS

Before I turn to the JS, I have another error to solve emergency:

i have this error here :

It appears when i set a sorting:


If i don't set a sorting there is no error but i need sort. I try to open database element and save it but it didn't solve.

Do you have an idea?

Do you know how i can solve it, too?

I just noticed that the fileupload plugin does not work either ... it does not send the file unless I use the ajax mode and in both cases the image is not displayed in the list.
Someone could help me because it makes a lot of flaws there. it is really a catastrophe this upgrade.

I've upgraded several Fabrik2 sites.
There was always some manual work to do but I've never seen those "Fatal errors" in element.php etc.
So it seems something has been mixed up on your site.

Are you sure you've followed the upgrade steps, so mainly:
install Joomla2.5.19 (same DB prefix as the old DB)
install Fabrik3.0.9
upgrade from GitHub (master branch)
discover additional plugins
replace #_fabrik_xxx tables with the ones from your old DB
run Fabrik "upgrade from 2.1" tool

I am willing to make manual changes, but if i know what to do ...

Are those errors in all forms/lists? Or only in special ones?
E.g. list with join, repeated groups...
What happens if you are disabling the dbjoin element(s) (one by one)?
Are all dboin element settings correct; ie. correct table, value, label (make sure there's no "please select" )?

I didn't know where was problem for this error:

But it appears only when i selected a sort in the list settings. I create a new list like the list where this fatal error appears, i sort the list and the message doesn't appears... idon't have lot of datas on this table, i will create new.

I still have to solve the problem of the position of the window ^ be the "Add" button and the error message on the email plugin.

Did you try to check and resave the dbjoin element?

Window and Add button:
I assume these are issues with your Joomla template overriding Fabrik settings.
Try with standard templates (e.g. beez5).

Yes i tried to save dbjoin, update table... but nothing solve it.
