Fabrik + JoomFish : Missing elements

Hi all...

I used fabrik, and all is gr8 at first..the form...the table view...
but then i ve installed joomfish for translation.
all the elements in the form went missing.can only see the labels..but the buutton,textfield,text area etc are all gone.

ive tried the solution from this thread

but to no avail.

please help

hi what version of fabrik are you using?

oh and what version of Joomla / joomfish as well?

im using fabrik 1.0.5.2 and joomfish 1.8.2, im on joomla 1.0.15

i know now what went wrong and it has nothing to do woth joomfish ( i think )
i made a menu for table view. and i set the table access for edit,add,delete records to manager as i wanted only this group to have the access to edit,add and delete records.
the table view went ok, but the form is only accessible to managers.
to make the form visible to everyone, i had to change the table acces back to public frontend. but the table view then also have the edit,add,delete function.

is there another way to disable those function to the public frontend group?

and may i add,
whats the difference btwn access in table and access in elements ?

please help...

ive been trying alternatives..
but to no avail....

You'll need to update to the latest SVN of 1.0.6. Might not fix your problem, but we don't have 1.0.5.2 installed anywhere to test this scenario for you.

See instructions in my sig. Make you you read them carefully, in particular do NOT uninstall/reinstall the component. Just download the files using SVN, and ftp them up to your server, overwriting the existing files.

Let us know when you are up and running on the latest SVN.
