Fabrik with ModX or other PHP framework

Hi,

I am trying to shift from Joomla to ModX or simply use Php framework for creating web applications. Since I have been using fabrik for very long time, I am so comfortable with this app that it almost seems impossible to work without fabrik.

Is it possible to use fabrik with ModX or Php frameworks??

No.

We are working on a CMS agnostic Fabrik framework ("Fabble"), but it'll be a while. It's what the new JED is built on, although as-is it still has a fair amount of J! dependencies, but it was written with agnosticism in mind, and we're steadily working on abstracting all the J! specific code, replacing things like JForms with our own layer, etc.
