German translation 1.0.4

Is there any one working on a German translation?
If not I am working on it, 75% is done finished maybe on Friday.

Finished. I´ll try to maintain this file as good as I can.

BTW, I seem to recall from a vBulletin project I work on that German translations can take a formal or informal approach - I think it was 'du' or 'zie'. Am I remembering correctly?

Can I ask why have a uft and iso version, and which one we should include in the component (or do we need to include both) ?

Hi Rob,

I needed the utf-8 Version for an current project with a Chinese translation, but the iso Version should be fine on all other sites and is standard Joomla! 1.0.x Encoding UTF-8 comes with Joomla! 1.5.

Many many thanks for the files - I have added them for the next release.
2.0 is probably in a state where most of the text has been added, so go for it!
In 2.0 there are more that one language file - as each element is now a plugin so has its own separate language file

e.g.

administrator/language/en-GB/en-GB.com_fabrik.plg.element.fabrikfield.ini

i've corrected some misspellings and added some missing translations in the current german.php from svn. here it is.

There are still some bad translations, i'm on it.

Thanks for telling, fixed it in the file and uploaded it again into my previous post. Don't know why it appears again ???
