How to force Fabrik update from older version in Joomla?

Hi all,

Is anyone able to help me forcing a Fabrik update in Joomla?

I upgraded to J3.8.3, but the Fabrik elements will not show in the Update section of joomla.
The Fabrik is F3.2, so is a bit old.

I know that we have to update fabrik from joomla otherwise we lose settings
(eg: Form List of plugins, I learnt the hard way).

They should still show, after doing a "check for updates".

If not, you could always do a github update, see wiki for post-update steps.

Or if you want to stick with RTM versions, download the latest Fabrik package and upload it to your site.

Thanks Hugh, Sophist,

I think I will download RTM and upgrade this way, then update from Github.

The last site I merely updated from GitHub, and I lost my form plugins, and I found a forum post saying one needs to update from Joomla to prevent this when going to F3.7 and up.
