    Hi guys,

I have a list with a date filter, if I set it up as "drop-down" it shows me the previous day of the selected date.

    Any clue ???

    Joomla 3.9.8
    PHP 7.3

I assume it's showing UTC time.

The element Date is configured as "Local time" ....

The odd thing is that if I set the filter as "Range" it shows the correct date but as "Dropdown" it shows the day before ....

Hmm, seems to be ok on my site.
What are your exact settings (time etc)?
    What is your time zone?
What is stored in your DB?

    Settings attached
    Time Zone Europe/Madrid
In the DB dates are stored as Local

I insist that if I set the filter as "Range" it shows the correct date but as "Dropdown" it shows the day before .... it seems an odd behavior of the filter because I do not change anything else

Issue confirmed (I had my date element labled with "local" but setting was UTC...).
It seems the filter value build from dropdown is doing timezone handling even if date is set to local.

Noted. I'm due to do some work on the date element(s) soon, I'll add this to the pile.
