Overrides in module not working?

I followed this tutorial to override a template and it works great

at least until i reach the point where i want to change the edit button.
Whatever changes i make to the either to the inline.php or one of the edit
buttons files, they will not be overridden.
My files are in this folder:
components/com_fabrik/views/list/tmpl/seemi/layouts/listactions

And the list is loaded in a module but as said, though the other overrides work,
the ones for the button don't.

We've altered the layout locations since then, all layout overrides now go in the main J! template overrides location, I'll modify the wiki ...

So your layouts need to go in ./templates/<your_template>/html/layouts/com_fabrik/listactions/.
