I want to create Fabrik applications, then install them on a number of sites.

Using content types is hit and miss.

When will I be able to do this with Fabrik?

It's on our list for this year, or first quarter next year. We simply didn't have the manpower to get them working properly before, so we put them on hold. But we have a couple of clients who really need the feature, and are prepared to help fund the work. But I can't give you a definite timeline.
