Prefilter list duplicates

Hi

I would like to build an app that sends an email to every doctor in a prefiltered list. From what I understand this is possible with the schedule email cron plugin. Problem is that a doctor can have several list items and the email only needs to be sent once to every doctor.

Is there a way to add a prefilter to this list so that if the doctor is shown more then once it will only show the last (by date) list item?

I can't think of any way to do that with the plugin as-is.

So I've added a new option, "No Duplicates":

You can either do a github update (see wiki), or wait till the next release, which will be whenever J! releases 3.7.

You would also have to set the list you use for the cron job to order by the date you need it ordered by. If this conflicts with how you want the visible list ordered, you can always copy the list, set the copy appropriately, and use the copy for the cron job.
