Published element disabled

Hello.
It is possible to have an published element in a form but it appears disabled so that the user cannot modify it. I have some fields that I want the user to modify and some do not.

The "Details" access is basically "read only" access, if users don't have write access (add or edit). If they don't have add/edit or details access, they can't use the element at all.

So, you can control it with user groups: if someone has "details" but not "add" or "edit" access, they'll see the field in the form but can't edit it.

Some element types also give you a "read only" option (then true for all users).

But I want no user to be able to modify these fields, but they can view them.

Well, in this case you should create a Joomla access level (e.g. name it "No one") without any user group added. Then set this ACL for "add" and "edit" access in this element, while you set "Public" or whatever you require for "Details view".
