Reminder with pop up

Hey,
Any idea how to create reminder with popup?

i.e
1-User enter task with date and time on form
2-Cron run every five min
3-If the task is in five min from now, popup will appear on screen with the form task

(similar to Google calendar popup reminders)

Is it possible with fabrik?

Nope, can't think of a non-trivial way of doing that.

I am looking in to a couple of potential ways of providing push notifications, but nothing any time soon.

The only possible way I have at the moment is an app specific one. I have some code (not publicly available) which sends PushBullet notifications. PushBullet is a cross platform app that has a number of useful features, including push notifications. But it would obviously require all your users to install it. I use the code for my own purposes, as I'm a PushBullet user, and find it extremely useful.
