Searching data in a list based on date ranges or specific field values

I need to be able to search a list based on a specific value in one of my lists such as a date range or a specific value that is stored in one of my fields. Is there an element to do this for a fabrik list?

Edit the settings for the element you want to filter on, under "List settings", enable filtering.

I've done that, and had very little success searching by a date range. If I search on the exact date it seems to work with filtering but is there a way to enable search by a range?

Did you try the ranged filter type?

You're a lifesaver. Worked perfectly. I was trying to do everything within the list itself. Didn't occur to me to go right into the date element.
