[SOLVED] Fabrik home slow on intranet

We run Fabrik on intranet and after some update Fabrik home is taking a century to open. Probably it is trying to reach something on internet - and that is impossible in our infraestructure.

I commented all the external references in:

• administrator/components/com_fabrik/fabrik.xml (updateservers)
  
• administrator/components/com_fabrik/views/home/tmpl/bootstrap.php
• administrator/components/com_fabrik/views/home/tmpl/default.php

But it is still the same.
Could someone tell me where this reference is?

When you say "Fabrik home" do you mean the main backend control panel page?

Yes, when you go to the Menu Components > Fabrik. It takes 13 seconds to load.
Since I see the message "No news items found" I thought it could be a connection with internet issue.

I had a problem to upload the screenshot. It says:

Yes, that's probably the RSS feed trying to load. I may add a feature to turn that off.

I can't promise when, it'll be when I'm next in that code, unless you want to tae out a paid subscription, and I'd bump it up the queue a little.

No problems, Hugh! I found and commented the public function getRSSFeed. And added this step to the update tutorial.
