update from github result in error

Hi,

I copied the update from github into the joomla root of my website. I have done this procedure succesfully several times before without error.

Fabrik seemed to work normally, but when I want to edit elements or create new elements, the screen turns blank and nothing happens anymore.

Also in Lists -> Joins -> delete joined data I can now choose between no and no, wheareas previously it said no and yes.

Any help would be appreciated.

if you have a white screen turn on php error reporting and review the page - it should give you an error message as to what the issue is

The problem dissapears when I disable element file upload. Also the dropdown join element does not work properly in my installation anymore. :-(

Any ideas?

Could it be a file access issue?

i would double check that all the files were correctly uploaded.
Did you turn on error reporting as laid out here:

If so what errors are reported?

I get:

Fatal error: Access level to plgFabrik_ElementFileupload::$_is_upload must be public (as in class plgFabrik_Element) in /share/MD0_DATA/Web/temporallobe/plugins/fabrik_element/fileupload/fileupload.php on line 20

when calling

[n@localhost fabrik]$ git pull
Already up-to-date.

So I should have the latest version GIT version - correct?What about file permissions? how should these be set properly?

Although the databasejoin element now does open - I can only select a Connection and Table, the Value and Label parameters cannot be set. A flash like circle keeps revolving around.

I have sent you a private message through the messaging board. Does that work or not?Thannks for any help you can give.

Hi Rob,

OK - I made a stupid mistake it seems. I cloned

git://github.com/pollen8/fabrik.git

whereas I should have cloned

git://github.com/Fabrik/fabrik.git

Now - things are back to normal again. Maybe an idea to add this info to this page?
