As you can clearly see in that profile, almost all the time is taken up in 'render list data'. And the only cure for that is to render less list data. Display less rows, and/or display less columns of data. Also, exclude elements you don't need to be rendered - look at the List Settings for any elements you aren't displaying, and exclude them from the query, and/or make sure "always render" is No.
Even through rendering (adding all the display markup) for each element (in each row) only takes a few milliseconds, the time adds up. Let's say the average time is 3ms to render each cell ... if you have 15 elements in the list ... and are display 50 rows ... that's 3 * 15 * 50 ... which is 2.25 seconds. Just in element rendering time, added to that is all the rest of the page building and rendering, from both Fabrik and J! itself.
